All Hail Poor Handwriting !

After drinking a beer while crossing the Confederation Bridge ( an act of defiance I found almost spiritual at the time ) and after being lost for a while whilst in search of Wet Ribbons Central ( Go with your guts Kids, not your GPS ! ) I finally made it. Sadly this show was meant to be much, much, longer. Painfully long actually. But in the spirit of teenage love, or maybe just frustration of a near sexual nature, I will be leaving you wanting more. And someday you will get the full set you were meant to hear. But in the meantime, and I mean meantime, you’re still going to be treated to some thirty four minutes of a garage rock sundae sprinkled atop with the ashes of Hank Williams*.

Thanks to Mr. Joshua Vapour for having me and being once again the only man keeping an Island cool, albeit a different Island.

* Didn’t actually get around to Mr. Williams this time.

Wet Ribbons, EP#47 — That’s right, EP#46 is lost forever, and even though I call this show episode 46 a couple times, it’s actually episode 47 —yes, another mix show (and if you want to hear the set list for 46, you can to check out the Mix Tape post).

So, we’ve been slacking again, and we’ve moved locations again, and we’re now streaming from Fly Trap Studios, in PEI’s back country. Lot of really awesome things happening as of late, hence the lack of shows, but we’re going to be back on track shortly, and we’re going to bring you a hell of a lot of good stuff between now and the new year. Pop Favs #5! Woooooah! I had a party and invited my derby wives and their widows. We shotgunned way to many beers and I made some horrific, accidentally offensive German comments (sincerest apologies!!) while I took Popular Favourites and filled it with a bunch of 80’s hits! (Sorry, I never once told you that you were listening to Popular Favourites.) David Bowie, Gary Numan, New Order, Kraftwerk, and loads of monster hits. Then, the inevitable happened! My own takeover was taken over.. TWICE! We had Mike & Elle both take the show with their own record supply. If all of this doesn’t kill the subscribers on J, I’ll ask to do it again sometime.
